Though anaemia is a common disorder, people still seem unaware of it. Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of this ailment. Yet, this symptom is often brushed aside as a consequence of being ‘just tired’. A doctor’s visit is in order if the fatigue continues for long periods of time. To diagnose anaemia, your doctor will ask about your medical and family history, perform a physical exam, and suggest Complete Blood Count test (CBC) as well as a test to determine the size and shape of your red blood cells.
